Greetings, Cadets,

StormCrow here with a little info for you.

I have taken the liberty to create two..yes...two...count em'...two new social groups for your networking pleasure. As there creator, I will be watching them closely and participating in discussions. Please join...who knows you might...oh I don't know, make friends, connections, or...God forbid...Learn something...lol. Social groups may be accessed through the User CP.

So please take the time to see what they are about.

Yours truly,

Storm

Very cool StormCrow. I've joined the drill and ceremonies freaks one. Maybe I'll be able to pick up some pointers, or help someone out when it comes to commanding (I don't do exhibition, but would like to learn how, so maybe that to).

If you are interested in Exhibition check out the USAF Honor Guard Basic Protocol, Honors, and Ceremonies (http://www.ushistory.org/betsy/images/hgguide.pdf) Chapter 13

Heads up everyone,

StormCrow has just created the Author's Pen Society. A Social Group for those who express themselves through stories, poetry, and essays. Please check it out...

BTW...No one's joined my Future Business Leaders Group yet....

That's what its supposed to be for. Since I am not in high school anymore I am trying to point you guys in the right direction so that you don't make the same mistakes I did and end up living in your truck with your dog and girlfriend for a month.

I have just added a new social group for any and all pilots.

Whether you:

Already have a license
Are working on your license
Think you might be the slightest bit interested in flying

Share your stories, hand out advice, and maybe learn something yourself.

I'm glad that everyone is starting to create their own ways of networking with each other. This is the place to make friends for life. Take advantage of this.

Created Last Night:

Christian Freaks: a forum for those of you that are of Christian Religion. A place for us "Jesus Freaks" to hang out.

I joined that group just because...I don't know what to talk about though.

All the social groups have fallen silent! Just giving this thread a bump (not common practice, but sanctioned in the name of revitalization) to remind people that these social groups are still around and the more people that join them, the more conversation we can have. So join a group (http://www.gruntsmilitary.com/board/group.php), as of right now here's what we've got:

Christian Freaks
Drill and Ceremony Freaks
Sports Fanatics
Shadow Cadets
Civil Air Patrol
Raiders
Pilots
Marine and Poolees
War Movie/TV Series Fan Club
NGB
The Authors Pen Society
Future Military Officers
Military Wives and Girlfriends

So we've got something for everyone, and if you are that one person who can't find your niche, just create one and notify everyone here!

PS
Lets not use this thread as a "join the ____ group 'cause we're cool!!!" thread...

I think this thread is going to outlive its utility extremely quickly...

Mods can we lock this thread please

For what reason, because people make random ridiculous posts like "I think I'm going to join the Military Wives and Girlfriends(even though I am a boy), hehehehehe!!!!!"? Is that why?

I request that be denied on the grounds that if the purpose of this thread is actually followed, it could result in the revitalization of an integral part of networking on this forum.

Hahahaha, I'm joking. I just did it for dramatic effect. Grunts has a lot of Social Groups, Leatherneck has only 10.
