Now, you know what p***** ME off? According to THIS story from FoxNews, some wimpy, lilly livered, gutless blunder that goes by the name of Maj. Hunter Holliday, who is apparantly the PIO of the Multinational Force Iraq Media Operations Center, "The Soldier's behavior is inconsistent with our Army values and does not represent the position of Coalition Forces," Holliday wrote in an e-mail to FOXNews.com. Holliday added "appropriate action" could be taken against the soldier following an investigation. Inconsistant with "Army values"??? WTF is that supposed to mean? If "Army values" don't include verbally kicking the crap out of a bunch of lazy, shiftless, good for nothing, gutless blunders, then, IMNSHO, the Army doesn't have any values left!!!

APPROPRIATE ACTION? I would hope that the "appropriate action" that he's speaking of is a promotion, and stationing as NCOIC of TRADOC, with total control over ALL troop training for AT LEAST the next decade.

I didn't see anything wrong with this. And even though this sounds funny when you listen to it, it's a very serious matter from very serious Soldiers who are tired of seeing fellow Soldiers KIA.

APPROPRIATE ACTION? I would hope that the "appropriate action" that he's speaking of is a promotion, and stationing as NCOIC of TRADOC, with total control over ALL troop training for AT LEAST the next decade.

The correct action is to remove the dipstick in charge and replace him with this man and every other man that he's been trained by. He's there to do a job; get the H*** out of his way and let him get it done!

Oh sure, it probably wouldn't be pretty, he probably wouldn't really give a rabid rats patoot about how you "feel" about much of anything, I can just about guarantee you that I KNOW what he would do with your silly little "stress card", and God help the poor recruit who started complaining about much of anything (can you say "PT until your he got tired of watching you do PT"?), but one thing is for certain, the troops he produced would only be concerned with accomplishing the mission assigned, in an efficient, proficient, military manner.

That guy had a pretty good freakin' terp. I wish mine had been that good (hence the only reason I even know any Arabic). And you will notice the guy understood what was being said when the questions were asked. Who said American soldiers were stupid?

But speaking of Army values: These so-called Army values are freakin' worthless. Some (insert a plethora of expletives) came up with those as a bullet for their OER or NCOER so they could get a pretty medal.
Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage. "But the greatest of these is Loyalty" - a Section SGT I once had. And why did he say that? Because you have Loyalty and all the rest follow. If you're loyal to your mates, you are going to help them out, like getting a job done quick so you can go the h*** home (overseas or stateside). Well, that covers Duty, Selfless Service, Honor (Army definition thereof), Personal Courage, and Respect. Integrity we didn't have much use for; we were honest with each other, but no one, and I mean no one, got wind of our dirty laundry, even if it meant a 1SG or CSM didn't receive a very accurate status report at formation (or something to that effect). Not to mention, "there is only one thief in the Army, everyone else is just trying to get their stuff back." We were very, very good at "getting our stuff back".
