Just dropping the mandatory introductory line. I was going to cut and paste the one from the previous boards, but I figured that would be too lazy. My rundown for anyone that wasn't stalking me from the previous forum--
--US Army Active Duty Sergeant First Class with 12 years Time in Service
--I was previously a platoon sergeant and NCOIC for training development, but now I am assigned as an instructor, though I will be heading to Fort Rucker in February '09 for WOCS
--assigned to the 101st ABN DIV (AASLT), 501st MI Bde, 902d MI Gp, 172d SBCT/1-25 SBCT, and Fort Huachuca
--1 tour in Iraq (yeah I know, only 1 tour?, in my defense I was with the 172d SBCT, we were redeploying after 12 months in Mosul and got to spend an additional lovely 4 months in Baghdad)
--1 tour in the ROK (14 months--contract issues caused me to get extended)
--I identify more with Republican ideology than Democrat, but I think most politicians need to be hauled up by their fourth point of contact regardless of their party affiliation (aside from present Grunt Forum members with political aspirations, of course--maybe keelhauling would be more appropriate)
I look forward to some stimulating conversation in the coming months--well, if not stimulating, at least humorous. Later.:D
