I have got to get me one of those!

I've got a feral hog hunt coming up next month. That little "stealth" vehicle would work wonders!

Soon you will have no choice. that is what you will need to get around anywhere in the border States.

I betcha they could have mounted FIVE on the rear, with a stand-up .50 mount behind the main seats!

I would like one for the Texas border area. However, mine should come with the deluxe stereo package (obviously aftermarket) so that I may blast appropriate music - such as the ENGLISH version of our National Anthem - while I work.

We should order a whole fleet, actually, because I have no doubts that we could find plenty of Americans who are happy to drive or ride shotgun.

Can I get one of those in the Dallas area, Sarah? One of the banks I work at has 7 employees, and only one of them speaks English a majority of the time.

Well, h*ll, Dallas is in "occupied" Mexico, is it not?

Parts of it sure feel that way!

But there is this...you want great Mexican food, or cheap yard work, it's readily available, and in plentiful supply!

That reminds me...barbacoa quesadillas for lunch tomorrow!!

Oh, yeah, we should get a whole fleet of these and station ourselves throughout Texas. We can start in the middle and work our way outward - send a bunch of illegals running into the gulf, and a bunch back across the border.

First of all let me say that I am shocked at the number of people who peeked.

So anyway;

Ladies and Gentlemen, careful research into archival sources coupled with synthesis of missing facts reveals that the vehicle shown at the top is the super-SECRET XM-07734 High Mobility Golf and Country Club Interdiction Vehicle. The HMGaCCIV, or HUMGEE for short, is the first vehicle in history that can deliver massive firepower without tearing up the greens. Normally an operational HUMGEE would be painted in the WB (Waterloo Boy) green and yellow camouflage pattern as shown on the historylink101 site:

http://www.historylink101.com/lessons/farm-city/waterloo_boy_4.jpg

This colour scheme renders the XM-07734 virtually invisible in its operating environment.

The HUMGEE should soon see widespread deployment after minor divotting problems observed with the M430 HEDP round are solved.

Can I drive one around Nogales and surrounding areas? Can I? Can I?

Pre-deployment deployment should be possible by filling out the proper requisitions and have them signed by one or more of the Joint Chiefs and/or the President.

Now, don't tell anybody about this because there is no evidence that any of this material has been cleared for public publication.

We'll hold them here, on the border. We'll give you a corridor down Highway 67 then 118 South, don't veer off the roadway as this will cause you to move into the KZ. Once you hit the Rio, we'll link up seal it off.

Alas; the congress has looked at the high speed-low drag weapon that was shown in #1 on this thread and have decided to reduce the cost of this weapon. The cost reduction will be used to fund their pay raise.

This is what the new theater weapon will look like:

There may be an upgrade to put "knobby" tires for off road use.:p

Stop teasing the troops, John. Canada has only manufactured two of these prototypes and will not release the specs. For publishing this photo, you may also be liable for extradition to Montreal and trial for espionage - in bad french.

We have some good news. The United States Marine Corps has stolen, oops I mean re-partriated the proto-type weapon from our allies and with using spare parts lying around Army and Air Force bases have come up with an upgraded version.

Notice how the vehicle can now shoot in both directions.

I don't speak french but I would not be offended if I did. Freedom of speech is more important than political correctness anyway.

You should also know that Canada's liberal media does not speak for all of us or even most of us. They make a big deal about some comic calling our military the "best little army in the world".

The Canadian forces are larger than Luxembourg's and would just about fill Fort Bragg. It is a little army compared to many and I though those comics could have said a lot worse. What I find insane is how one of them has been forced to apologize for his comments on television. Doesn't he have a right to say disagreeable things?

You would think that one would have the right to be disagreeable.

I am reminded of John Wayne:

In the movie, ‘She Wore a Yellow Ribbon;’ “Never apologize, Mr. Cahill, it’s a sign of weakness.”

And in his biography, “Never do anything you have to apologize for; and when you do, don’t.”

Canadian Forces are a proven combat outfit. It’s a shame what the Canadian Government has done to reduce it to an unsustainable force. Meaning, if it had to defend itself for a long period of time, without outside support, it would be unable to. Sadly, the US Government seems to be using the same model for its military.

I am reminded of John Wayne:

To me John Wayne was more than an actor. He was a kind of cultural icon that represented the best of America. There will never be another one like him.

Maybe this has been going on for a long time. Many years ago a Canadian WWII tanker told me that they were sometimes ordered to attack Tigers with Shermans. Apparently this was a perfectly legal order but many Shermans were destroyed in the process. Shermans do not seem to be the proper equipment for hunting Tigers or Panthers.

Canadians weren't the only ones attacking Tigers with Shermans - we did, because it was all we had. If you can find photos of WW II Shermans, you'll see them loaded with timber, sandbags, and old road wheels as 'field expedient armor', for just that purpose.

The biggest problem was the Sherman's 75mm gun could not compete 'head to head' with the German 88. The 88 range to reach out and touch you well before the 75 could even be effective.

The primary way to defeat "Tigers" in the open was to swarm them. Fill the field with so many targets that eventually you'll get within range and blast them from the rear and sides. (The Tiger was so well armored in the front that, even in close range, the 75 was ineffectual.)

We should not be discussing general history in this highly classified [snicker] thread so I'm going over to the Military History section and start a thread on the Parrish Principle to continue.
