I'm liking the new AO
Though I've never been a big fan of VB
this is pretty cool.
As for who I am that's a complicated story so I'll try to condense it so as not to bore everyone to sleep.
I originally joined Grunts a couple of years ago under this screen name,
but when I clicked to agree to the terms I hit the link saying I was under 13 (God I wish) but anyhow at that time I had NO idea what Coppa was so I never could get that acct activated
Later on I re joined under my other Screen name "Starchild".
When my email address changed I tried updating my information but ended up getting locked out.
Then I joined again under the abbreviated version of this name "OS".
Since the forum is on new software I was hoping I could use this SN again
since it is my primary SN for surfing the net.
I'm still with the Patriot Guard though lately my health and the ever soaring gas prices have prevented my doing much but I do what I can when I can.
I hope this time I can hang around with as little trouble as possible.
I should also add,
I have NEVER served in any branch of the US military.
My only connection with the military are my familiy members who are either active duty or veterans,
along with the funerals and welcome home rides I've done with the PGR.

"O.S."! What's going on my brother! Yeah we all just show up like bad pennies don't we.

I agree I like this "NEW & Improved" Grunts and all the old hands are back, great stuff...

Hey fellas!!
I've really come to lilke this place in my on again off again relationship
I may not always agree with everything but that is with anything in life.
In the end this site is all about the things I appreciate, learning and troop support and what better way to get to know more about what makes the troops who they are before, during and post service.

Outsider, I recently joined the Patriot Guard in Iowa. although I wasn't too impressed with the site, (hard to find rides, or maybe I didn't look too hard). I read about PG in Penthouse while on AT this past summer and couldn't deny that as a member of the Nat'l Guard and a motorcycle rider the PG was for me.

Do you have any suggestions as to how to go about finding more information on the Patriot Guard?

Welcome home, Outsider. While not everyone can wear the uniform, there are other ways to serve - and the PG, doing what they do, definitely serves the country and the troops, sometime when their families need it most.

BIG HUGS Buddy! It's good to see ya made it over...it's so easy, even a caveman could do it!:p

We all can't where the uniform but we can still serve...as you and I have done already. Everything we do may seem small but it may just mean the world to most military personnel and their families. You just keep doin' what you're doin' and I'll keep chuggin' along doin' what I do and we'll all be the better for it.

Tell Mrs. O I said HOWDY!!:D
