God knows that when you're building roads, bridges, locks, dams, sewage treatment plants, or any other infrastructure project, you sure don't want to hire any highly trained, highly skilled, professional white males to do the job, you need to hire a whole slew of unskilled, untrained, blacks, hispanics, and females so that it'll fall apart before they're even done with it! HELL, if we're going to be really "inclusive" why not hire the mentally and physically handicapped, I'm sure that they'll do a bang up job.

Dang, don't know what kinda women they run into everyday but I've got more skill in my pinkie than he's attempted in his lifetime! That's just crap but it's something I'm sick of seeing myself. Where I work now, I'm an electronics technician...I test, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair circuit boards for some of the medical machines y'all rely on everyday. In one facility I get paid less because I'm a woman and then other places wanna pay me more because I'm a woman...why can't I just get paid for the bang up job that I do regardless of whether I carry a set of boobs around with me or not as long as the equipment works properly? This's crap, we all need food, water and a roof over our head regardless of our differences in color, race or gender.

Most of the equipment that helped to win WWII was primarily made by women. They did do a good job because the equipment generally worked well. They were paid less which I think is unfair but I do think those companies were perfectly willing to pay everybody less equally. Why were those women willing to work for less?

Now many employers want to bring in "guest" workers and pay them a subsistance wage that only covers food water and shelter. It looks like the days of the "coolie" are returning. How do any of us compete with that?
